Yeah, great graphics, decent sound but a little repetitive on the music. Fun platformer, quite tricky to land some jumps. Not bad at all

Yeah loved it! Fast paced, loads of action, good sound, fun. nice!

Great! I appreciate your review.

Aw loved this lil game. Reminded me of the Amiga 500 days. Very tricky to get some of the pieces, so good challenge, great music loop! never got boring. Smooth graphics, funny dialogue, yeah... All good man.

ninjamuffin99 responds:

hell yeah

I liked the animation/graphics and the puzzles of the game and the clue about the picture order was set out in a cool way. The music needed more suspense, or to develop a bit more as it was a bit dull, even if spooky.

The ending was very, meh... Left a lot to be desired but, I feel like I don't really wanna know anymore.

When speaking to Lori, there is a typo. she says you need to 'out' back the pictures when I think it should be, 'put' back.

Overall it was a decent little game.

Yeah it was ok. I liked you had more than one piece of music.
The weapons were bland. and the enemies were pretty terrible lol. The giant ones were so dumb they just got stuck everywhere. The elixirs... I'm not really sure what any of them done other than the little ghost one that was like a helper. The game got extremely repetitive after 5 minutes of going from one screen to the next.

GoodL responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

I initially liked it, the music was good and the randomisation each level was a good concept but, honestly I'm not sure what was being affected, the double helix or the game environment?
The menus were very busy and reading the made it difficult. Can't tell you what the power-ups really did tbh, other than the time one which seemed to take time off the count-down but, I'm not sure why that was a good thing?

I got bored after about 5-10 mins and had to kill myself just to try the power-ups cause the game seemed a bit never ending with no progression. I think it needs some kind of goal cause it feels just like a grind to get power-ups that don't really do much.

HealliesGames responds:

Yes, the randomization affects the helix behaviour.
At first it may be difficult to perceive it, because the game progresses slowly, but if you keep an eye on the bar at the top right of the screen, it shows the difficulty.

The countdown timer indicates how long a round lasts, so by using it, you are halving the survival time.
The little question mark in the menu, explain a bit what each element is for.

Consider unlocking the themes as a goal, as this is an infinite runner.

Glad you liked the music and thank you for your feedback, Thewordsmyth!

Yeah not a bad lil game. I liked the levelling up, the unique concept of havnig to die a specific way to keep your gems. I found out the hard way and got killed by melle when i was meant to die by traps lol.
The graphics and animations were great, the music lacked a bit and kinda made things a bit boring. It felt like pause or menu screen music. I preferred the initial ambient kinda sounds you had before the dungeon music.

I played about 4 rounds before having enough but fully upgraded my sword and bow. I felt like the fully upgraded bow was the same as the level 2 bow tbh.

I do like the concept and how the longer you greet the higher the score racks up, that's cool.
But no sound and the repetitiveness make it get boring very quickly.

Really good game. Good level design, great voice acting and sound design well-done. The story feels full and well thought out. LIKE IT AND WANT TO GET THE FULL VERSION.

loved it... needs some retro sounds tho. hit me up! ;)
